a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

It’s hard to wait for great things, but it makes it even sweeter when you get them! Had my 28 week glucose screening today, which meant that I couldn’t have sweets for 24 hours prior. Easy, right?

Of course human nature took over and all I could think about was a donut during that time. We always want and focus on what we can’t have. Focus on the blessings you have today. (p.s..I’m not advocating Hurts Donuts after a glucose screening or that they are good for you…but they sure taste great! 🍩) “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12
